Intervention Overview:
This intervention is particularly suitable for undergraduate and post graduate students but can be tailored to individual group needs and profiles.
Neuroengagement Photography is a creative, hands-on intervention that combines photography, psychogeography, and digital image-making to encourage participants to engage more deeply with their surroundings. Designed primarily for undergraduate and postgraduate students, the programme introduces key photographic concepts and camera techniques before guiding participants on an exploratory photographic walk, where they are encouraged to document and interpret their environment through their own unique perspective. By combining technical learning with creative freedom and place-based exploration, participants are supported to develop confidence, curiosity, and self-expression. The session concludes with a collaborative digital editing workshop, allowing participants to experiment creatively with their images and reflect on their experiences. The intervention aims to provide neurodiverse participants with an enjoyable, stimulating, and empowering experience that promotes engagement, creativity, and wellbeing.
